Pumpkins Against Poverty
Explore the difference that growing pumpkins can make to the lives of people living in flood affected regions in Bangladesh.

The latest resource from Practical Action for Key Stage 2 children offers great cross curricular opportunities for pupils to explore the difference that growing pumpkins can make to the lives of people living in flood affected regions in Bangladesh.
The materials include; a Science investigation about seed germination and the lifecycle of a pumpkin, Design and Technology activities based on making seed packets and Geography and Global Citizen tasks exploring Bangladesh and ways to address poverty. The duration for each activity varies between 10 minutes and 120 minute)
