Use this online mapping tool to help pupils view the world in a new light...
Years: 3, 4, 5, 6
Curriculum Objectives: 3
This unique interactive tool, created by Oxfam, works with maps and globes to transform how learners understand the world! The winner of a Geographical Association Gold award and a BAFTA award for primary learning, this fantastic program allows learners to flatten a globe, turn a map into a globe, and merge different map projections. The nine structured activities come with teachers' notes, and are designed for whole class learning on an interactive whiteboard or PC. Help your pupils view the world in a whole new light, through the magic of technology, and develop their geographical understanding at the same time.
