Resource Overview

Join three of intrepid explorers from Wombridge Primary School and Farmer Rob as they investigate the habitat of the hedgerow. Investigate the types of creature that live in this vital part of the farm and the amazing jobs that they do. Once completed, students will be able to explain the definition of a habitat and investigate a habitat and identify different lifeforms within it.

This activity lends itself exceptionally well to being run as part of a visit to a local farm. Share the resource with the farmer ahead of time to identify areas to explore. You could show the video in advance of the trip to prime learners.

Activity 1 - Look What I've Found
