Flying the Kite for Food
Inspire learners to create artwork promoting a world without hunger...
Years: 3, 4, 5, 6
Duration: 60mins
Curriculum Objectives: 3
Subjects: Art, D&T, PSHE

Resource Overview
These fantastic resources, created by Oxfam, are designed to inspire learners to create their wishes for a world without hunger. A great way to start discussion about food inequality around the world, this activity also enables pupil to develop their Art and Design skills, by making a kite which they can then decorate with their wish.
The materials have been planned to fully link with the Art & Design and Geography curricula, and would work brilliantly as a half-day project, or an introduction to international topic work.
