This virtual fieldtrip is all about wind energy, so why not use it to give your pupils’ knowledge of renewable power a real boost with our fantastic wind farm debate resources!

Challenge your class to find out more about this fascinating topic, and to make up their own minds about whether wind farms are a good thing. Children can take on stakeholder roles and work cooperatively to research the pros and cons of installing wind turbines, before participating in a mock planning debate on the subject. An ‘official’ letter introducing the project, character role cards, teachers’ factual notes, and lesson plans have all been created to help you and your pupils get powered up about wind energ.
