All Aboard Watersports

We are a fully accessible watersports centre which offers sailing, rowing, powerboating, canoeing and raft building. Our sessions are 2.5 hours though you can attend all day. We offer multisport and single sport sessions. We have adapted boats and equipment for students with mobility issues, accessible information and visual timetables for individuals with additional needs.

Aylmerton Field Study Centre

Bodmin Materials Recycling Facility

We encourage visits to the Bodmin Materials Recycling Facility, so that children and adults can learn how we sort and process recycling in Cornwall. As well as a tour of the facility, we offer lots of fun activities such as scrap modelling, paper making, recycling related DVDs and interactive quizzes.

Bristol Textile Recyclers Factory Visit

BTR offers fantastic, free visits to the factory, in order to teach pupils about the importance of reusing and recycling textiles (rather than sending them to landfill!). Schools can also organise a clothes drive as a fundraising opportunity, with BTR's free advice and assistance, whether in the run-up to a visit or as a standalone activity. Children's Scrapstore

Children’s Scrapstore is a charity that provides a centre for creative and sustainable play. We believe play is the most important component of a child’s development and promote this using recycled scrap from businesses. We also support schools through audits, training and our Scrapstore PlayPod®. Schools can visit us for tours, a short talk on reuse and creative workshops.

Community Farm, Chew Magna

Fantastic curriculum-linked farm visits to an organic farm and veg-box scheme. Children learn where their food comes from and how it is grown, and get the opportunity to harvest crops from the field, to prepare a seasonal snack!
